Privacy Policy

Overview

ReorderIQ – Inventory Forecast ("the App") is a Shopify application operated by iqapps.app that helps merchants forecast inventory purchase needs. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

Data we collect

• Shop data: Store domain, product catalog, inventory levels, and aggregated sales analytics accessed via Shopify APIs with your permission.
• App configuration: Forecast settings, velocity overrides, supplier mappings, and other preferences you enter in the app.
• Session data: OAuth access tokens required to authenticate API requests on your behalf. Tokens are stored securely and never shared.

Data we do not collect

• Customer names, emails, or mailing addresses
• Payment card or banking details
• Order-level customer personally identifiable information (PII)

How we use data

Data is used solely to provide inventory forecasting, purchase order generation, and related features within the App. Each merchant's data is isolated by shop domain and is never shared with, sold to, or accessed by other merchants.

Data retention & deletion

When you uninstall the App, we soft-delete your shop data immediately and permanently purge it within 48 hours, in compliance with Shopify's shop/redact webhook requirement.

GDPR & CCPA compliance

Because we do not store end-customer personal data, customer data request and redaction webhooks require no additional action on our part. All shop-level data is deleted upon receipt of the shop/redact webhook after uninstallation.

Third-party services

The App integrates with Shopify's platform APIs and may use infrastructure providers (e.g., hosting and database services) to operate. These providers process data only as needed to deliver the App and are bound by appropriate data protection agreements.
